Resumen:
En un volumen como este en el que la historia oral, las historias de vida y la intrahistoria adquieren el grado de protagonista, parece necesario advertir el papel fundamental que juega la tradición como elemento que nutre todos los discursos y sustenta el edificio de la cultura popular de base rural que durante el siglo precedente ha sido mecanismo de relación y comprensión del mundo para los vecinos de Cehegín.

Abstract:
In a volume such as this in which oral history, life stories and intrahistory acquire the degree of protagonist, it seems necessary to notice the fundamental role played by tradition as an element that nourishes all the discourses and sustains the edifice of popular rural-based culture which during the preceding century has been a mechanism of relationship and understanding of the world for the residents of Cehegín.
